In 2020 I was commissioned by the GMCA (Greater Manchester Combined Authority) to produce a short film piece on the early impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown on the Manchester area. I spoke with Dr Wendy Bottero of The School of Social Sciences at Manchester University to learn about the current and potential effects the pandemic was having on the people of Greater Manchester and conducted several film shoots to document the home of the 'worker bee' during this unique period.
